Restore Britain Coventry is the official local branch of Restore Britain.
We are here to build a political movement in Coventry that puts local people first, challenges the failures holding our city back and fights for a different direction.
That means exposing waste and poor decision-making, holding those in power to account, campaigning on the issues affecting our communities and building the organisation needed to deliver real political change.
We investigate. We organise. We campaign.
And we are building a branch capable of giving Coventry residents a serious alternative.
How we are organised
Branch Organiser — Alex Clinton-Carter
Responsible for the overall direction of the branch, local strategy, public statements and liaison with Restore Britain nationally.
Our work is currently focused across two main areas:
Investigations & Research
Freedom of Information requests, official data, council spending and evidence-led investigations into decisions affecting Coventry.
Campaigns & Outreach
Local campaigns, community engagement, events, membership growth and volunteer coordination.
As the branch grows, we will expand the organising team and appoint people to take responsibility for specific areas of our work.
Our local priorities are shaped by the issues facing Coventry and aligned with Restore Britain’s wider national mission.
What we do
- Build support for Restore Britain across Coventry
- Campaign on the issues affecting local residents and neighbourhoods
- Investigate council spending, public services and decisions made in our name
- Hold Coventry City Council and other public bodies to account
- Recruit and organise members, volunteers and local campaigners
- Support Restore Britain candidates and prepare for elections
- Turn evidence and public concern into organised political action
We do not believe residents should simply accept decline, waste, poor services or decisions made without proper accountability.
Where there are questions to be asked, we will ask them.
Where there is evidence to uncover, we will find it.
And where Coventry needs change, we will campaign for it.
Get involved
A political movement is only as strong as the people prepared to build it.
We are looking for Coventry residents who want to help with campaigning, research, events, leafleting, community outreach or behind-the-scenes organisation.
You do not need political experience.
You just need to care about Coventry, believe the city can do better and be prepared to play your part.
